I have always had cats for pets and have visited several vets in the McAllen area over the years. About eight years ago, a friend told me about Dr. Thielen at the Ware Road Animal Hospital. My friend is a very “picky” owner who wants nothing but the best for her pets, as we all do. I took my ailing cat to Dr. Thielen and was super-impressed with his talent and compassion for animals; his staff clearly follow the example set by him. I have more than one cat now, and they all seem to sense his caring attitude. Even the cats who are normally scared of strangers remain calm and easy with his touch. He always explains his diagnosis and treatment and gives me choices when he can. He is fantastic at taking me and my cat as walk-ins, no matter how full his schedule is, when my cat is in dire need. I recommend him without reservation to anyone who loves his or her animal.
