I took my dog on Nov 14 to get neutered and he stopped eating. He was throwing up on Nov. 21. I emailed the office since it was late. I know for a fact that they received my email but I did not get a response. I called them the next morning to tell them that my dog passed away. I wanted to speak to the person in charge. They told me that John was in a meeting and he would call me back. No call back. I called again 3 hours later and they told me that they were short Vets and John was in surgery. I thought John was an office manager not a licensed vet??? Again no call back. They were closed Thursday and Friday. Today I stopped by. It's beyond me why an establishment will not talk over the phone. I guess they prefer to see angry people in person. Idk. They resolved nothing for me. Obviously you can't get me my pet back, you can at least give me a refund for the services that caused my dog to die. Which cost was $90.
My Grayson and Bengie are now neutered. The surgical vet found they had mild entropion on their right eyes and asked if we wanted it done as well. We agreed. So now they're a little bit more miserable than expected but soon they'll be back to 100+%. Great Service, always kept us informed on the progress during the surgery by phone.
They are professional and would still recommend them. I just wish I had known I was supposed to wait 3 months after my dog's heat to avoid any complications. They didn't mention this over the phone nor in person but several articles recommend this. They spayed during a phantom pregnancy which caused complications and took longer to heal. Also please keep in mind other services ($) used during surgery that you may not fully expect once its time to pick up your pet. Example: penicillin shot, CBC, in heat, pregnant, etc. I didn't mind the extra services because they were done to make sure my dog was healthy enough for the surgery. They never called during the surgery to explain any extra services they were doing or the fact that she had a phantom pregnancy until I went to pick my dog up so I was a little shocked when I picked her up.
Please take a number. But I just have a question... Please take a number and someone will be right with you. *Looks at number * 37 people ahead of you.
Got my cat spayed here about 2 weeks ago. So far doing good. Very organized place. Fair price. Nice and neat reception.
