Customer service is the typical "sign in, wait your turn, and hope you don't die in the process." Place opens up at one time doctors don't stroll in till another.
Worst experience I have ever had, I came to the night clinic and have been waiting 3 hours and counting out in the lobby who knows how long it will be to seen and out of here. Poor customer service front desk clerk very rude, this place sees 2 patients and hour. I would not recommend this clinic to anybody and will definitely pass the word along and try to help others not to give their money and time to this place.
Best part, you will always be examined by a doctor, not a PA or RN. And the 3 doctors are all very experienced and will take the time to talk to you.
It's a decent facility, but they may have lost what made them good in the past which was their customer service and positive attitude. It's a shame we need these places so much, but yet at times the workers seem to not want to be here.
OVERALL: The doctor and nursing staff are efficient. The blood work staff is excellent. Reception needs improvement. Wait times are too long.
I wish they understood that most of us cannot afford to take 4 hours off for a routine doctor visit.
I give this place 3 stars because it for the most part is an average facility, with decent hours, and competent employees (not happy, but competent)
Another great perk is that they have their own lab and you won't be referred to Labcorp to have to return another day.
If you have an appointment you will be seen promptly, as you should. If you are a walk-in you wait your turn, as you should. Waiting time for walk-ins varies throughout the year. When its cold or flu season, of course the waits are longer for walk-ins. When its possible, pick up the phone the day before and make an appointment.
On the positive side, they are getting better with their automation. You don't have to fill in paper work every time you visit any more. You're handed an electronic tablet that allows you to review/change your information or you can even check in on-line. Despite the fast check-in, you still have to wait the same number of hours each time you visit.
Wait times are unusually long, but they draw and test your blood on-site. It takes about an hour to get your test results, so that's convenient. Really, the biggest frustration are the wait times. They schedule your appointment at 9:30, for example, but they don't even call you until 11:15. On top of that, you're asked to arrive early (at 8 AM) so that they can draw your blood and test it. Average time waiting has been about 4 hours, including the 15 minutes of face-time with an actual doctor.
Took my daughter on a Saturday because she was having stomach pain and throwing up and Dr. Guerra said it was gastritis. He said he was going to prescribe heartburn pills and nexium and no lab work done nor referred to ER. He said just to follow up on Mon. with her pediatric. Next thing you know I end up in ER on a Sunday she still had pain, fever and vomiting. Well it ended being being punctured appendicitis. My child suffered a whole day of pain and if it wasn't for my mother instinct and if I had waited Monday thinking it's was gastritis it would of ended worse. We ended staying in hospital for a week. Thank God my child is still alive.
These doctors are worth the waiting time.
