If I could rate this place lower than one star I would. Worst experience ever. I came in from out of town with my boyfriend and his family to eat at Don Pepe's. We were sat down when all of a sudden the manager from across the restaurant yells to the server to address our shirts. We were wearing casual & appropriate tanks for 100 degree weather. We were told we could not eat there if we did not change IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. This restaurant does not say fine dining ANYWHERE. If this was a huge issue we should've never been sat down but they sat us down and then told us to basically leave! While all of this was happening, the manager was laughing. Very disrespectful, embarrassing and the worst experience I have ever encountered in the customer service industry.
Good homestyle "casero" cooking just like Nena used to make!
It's ok. Nothing special. Sometimes they have rude wait staff and sometimes the food is cold. Not great, wouldn't recommend it. Too expensive and not worth it
The place was clean and staff was attentive. Food was ok. You can't really mess up eggs. Price is moderate. I would go back.
I do not recommend this place. The food is just blah. Nothing special, just another Tex-Mex retaurant that claims to be Mexican. The food is pricey, No taste and the service is terrible. Save yourselves some money and go to the stripes 3 blocks away. Stripes food has a better taste
