I was shopping for a 36 inch electric cook top. Sales person offered a few models: - most of them too expensive, While talking to the sales person, I was also doing on-line research too. My preference were (a) cook tops with knob instead of touch panel for quick shut down in case of emergency, (b) least number of small burners, (c) radiant heating only, (d) one that fits on my cut out, and (e) affordable. Some of the recommended ones were over size for my counter top cut out. Some of them were too expensive. The sales person told me that the sales manager Tom will call me back. While waiting for the call, I found a good affordable and correct size model with reviews better than the ones I was offered, for less than half the price of what Best Buy was offering. When Tom called, I asked about availability of that model that I found. Tom said "definitely, let me look". After looking at his inventory, his response was very humiliating. He asked me "besides it is being too cheap, what made me choose that model?" I felt like a worm and hang up. Then I called Home Depot and placed the order for the cook top and 5 year service contract even though I had to pay $10 more than Best Buy. Sales people especially the manager has to be careful about the words they use. I recommend Tom take some training to improve his reaction. Be on the customer's side because they are the one who is spending money.
Its a best buy. all your electronic dreams can come true. The Stereo/TV guys are pretty helpful, even offer return/unboxed items to help with budget. The guys in the display areas for camera/amazon/google home products are pushing that Vivint home alarm system pretty hard.. my guess there is a commission on it.
Always amazing...excellent customer service! I don't by anything anywhere else because they always have the best prices.
Went to buy a router to replace one which ceased to work. I was amazed at the number of possibilities available. With some help from store staff we chose one. Then asked about printers. Store staff showed us 4 which met our needs, and showed us their details. Now off to home to see which one will fit into the nook where a new printer will be located. The router we bought installed easily and works better than the previous one ever worked. ie. fast.
Always a clean, well organized place! And there's always someone ready to help with any questions I may have.
Store is nice but sales manager attitude needs correction.
