I have extensive customer service experience, one thing you do not do is cut off a customer and raise your voice. Today I bought an item that was stocked on the shelf on a specific price, at the checkout the price did not match. I was referred to a short woman with blonde hair and glasses who was the manager. I tried to explain that this item was not just placed on a price tag, but that the shelf was stocked with this item. All she did was raise her voice which was embarrassing, it was embarrassing enough to go through this experience and she cut me off and was rude. Will be my last visit to Kmart. Grinning and bearing the humiliation.
Apart from a decent selection of just about everything, the thing I like the most about Kmart is all the rewards I get through my Shop Your Way membership. Today I got a free clothes rack through "Surprise Points" which is essentially just a freebie to keep you shopping with them. Great store.
As far as prices are concerned, it may still be a reasonable option. Yet, I was looking for a tablet and simply there was not a variety there nor any one that was knowledgeable on that department. In fact, a Sears representative was the one that showed me the few electronics they had.
