Me as a Mexican food enthusiast, I loved this place. You should definitely try their migadas. Also I totally recommend their barbacoa special on Sundays. The place is modest but it gives you e better feeling of home made food. As well price is very reasonable so it's a great restaurant to try any day.
Went for the first time to get a soup for my pregnant wife. She loved the food but my major concern is that they decided to tip themselves $4. I know I am a great tipper if i dine in but to go for me does not merit tips. So food is fine per my wife but staff is un trustworthy when purchasing on the go. Be wary.
First and last time in this place... Be aware of the prices the $6.99 specials ended up being $8.99 even with a big sing outside that says special of the day $699 and the most expensive lemonade in McAllen...
$35 for two orders of tacos and a pozole. The only good thing about this place was the waitress, she was friendly. Food is not great, tacos way too oily and pozole super salty. I used to love the small shack location further down the street. Not coming back.
