It just so happens that suspicious person was a man with a video camera after contact with the citizen and seeing that all he had was a video camera they still found that they needed To continue their investigation Of a man Engaging in His Constitutional right to film and take pictures from a public side walk
What a great department you have, violating the civil rights of tourists. The first amendment is something your department should protect instead you treat a journalist like a terrorist. Maybe someday you will be held financially accountable for your violations, then you will change your behavior.
90% of these bastards mostly spend time around detaining and giving tickets to citizens. Hard working folks getting pulled over by these scumbags out of nowhere and pull cash from your pockets for more lousy guns and body armor. And when citizen's have needed these "badges" for emergency's they could never get things done which I've had experience with that as well, this is why I dont go to mcallen anymore.
