Overall a pleasant experience.

This was a local gem to our community. It does have great galleries, and lots of activities for the kids. A recent change of management, and staff turnover (during 2016-2017) has made dealing with them for parties and events a real downer. Their prices have skyrocketed, and we (just yesterday) decided not to pursue booking an event because the price for the same space has tripled. I've known people to turn down invitations to the board or to work there because the attitude is "do not get involved in management there, its a mess". Their vendor management processes has also been terrible. Our city leaders should really step in considering it is our tax dollars that fund it. This is a gem, i would hope management or even higher steps in before its back office reputation starts getting really known to the general public.

They have good programs for the kids and fun family activities. Museum membership is still a bargain if you travel. I've used my IMAS museum membership to get into museums in San Antonio, Houston and Denver for free.

I wish they had more in their exhibits since you can be in and out of the museum and have seen all of the exhibits in their entirety in less than 2 hours.

Its a great museum for younger children almost everything is interactive as far as adults the exhibits are so so but overall a great place to take your family especially Thursdays they have a family rate

Multi use space with rotating exhibits.a blend of traditional art museum, natural history, children's and rotating special exhibits. A lot going on in a small space. Current dinosaur exhibit was pretty sad, fiber glass models, presented information regarding theories are aged, circa 1980 textbooks. It may have been the volume of visitors on this day but it was disorganized, some non functional displays. This is a resource the community should get behind. There is a severe lack of museums in the valley and if this sets the standard, there isn't a whole lot of improvement. Kids programs are offered but seem to be focused on girl and not scouting if you subscribe to their sociopolitical diatribe.

This is a really great place to go. Student discounts available and there's plenty of interactive ways to learn things. Better for kids, but a nice time regardless for teens and up.
