I've been here on 4 occasions because it is so close to the hotel and EVERY visit has been amazing. From start to finish it's been awesome. So close to the border it seems that there can be at times a hardship with communication but even with that in mind I have received some of the best service in my travels here.
I was surprised by this place. The food was good and the service was great. They offer a lot of menu options at reasonable prices. The mariachi's playing in the background was a nice touch.
Not the first time this happens, service was not up to standards. Very dissatisfied, both with waitress and with food. Food was over cooked, all around, order was not taken correctly and was forced to pay for, expensive refreshments @2.50 with no free refills. Was not worth the $50+ we paid and that's because the kids ate free, which they didn't enjoy there food either. Waitresses in the front seemed confused about orders and took long just to check out. The times we've gone have been between 2-5, and same results. Good luck maybe you'll have a better experience.
Food was salty.. beans looked old with an odd taste to them. Waitress seemed annoyed. Overall, a bad experience. Defitnely not coming back.
